"Mechanics of Missile Flight Control" Conference/Lecture Wednesday, January 8, 2020 The event started -1717 days agoMultiday event - 0 days 11:00 AM12:00 PM Von Braun Research Hall m-50 The North Alabama Section (NAS) of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is pleased to welcome Mr. John Jordan as the January 2020 NAS ASME guest speaker. Mr. Jordan received his Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics from University of Minnesota in 1975. As a Lieutenant in the U. S. Army, he was sent to Research, Development, and Engineering Center (RDEC) at Redstone Arsenal. He became a co-developer of Radar Frequency Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation facility in Building 5400 on Redstone Arsenal. Mr. Jordan went on to be RDEC lead engineer for the Improved HAWK missile and then PATRIOT missile. He was a prime developer for PATRIOT digital and hardware-in-the-loop simulations as well as the PATRIOT Virtual Engagement Simulation Testbed. Mr. Jordan now works for Torch Technologies as an on-call subject matter expert. All are welcome to attend the meeting.
