Students will learn 5 easy chords and 3 fundamental strumming patterns sufficient for playing 21 songs, including the favorite "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." Inexpensive ukuleles can be obtained at local music stores or online; concert or tenor-size ukulele recommended. The textbook, available on Amazon.com, is optional but strongly recommended.
