The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) College of Business (COB) is looking forward to welcoming employers back to campus on October 13th from 1-4 p.m. for the upcoming Business Career Fair.

“Providing an environment for business students to flourish, and for the employers to find the talent they need, is what it is all about,” says College of Business Career and Internship Advisor, Mona Foroughi. “The fair is mutually beneficial for students and employers, and it is the best feeling when a business student and organization discover each other at this type of event, and align with each other's values, skills and interests,” she says.

TriVector Solutions, Inc. has attended the Business Career Fair since its inception. “The students I’ve met at the COB Career Fair have always been eager, intelligent and anxious to join the workforce. Being a part of this experience genuinely energizes me and reminds me of why college students are some of my favorite people,” says TriVector, Inc. Human Resources Manager and UAH alumna, Caitlin Sampson.

Sampson recently onboarded two UAH business students that she met at a past fair, and commented on the value that they have added to her organization. “Both of these young professionals are utility players and have made a considerable impact on us,” she says.

Business student, Natalie Craney, attended the Business Career Fair during the spring semester, where she connected with Intuitive Research & Technology Corporation and was hired on as a summer intern.

“The fair was so incredibly helpful for finding major specific internships and jobs,” says Craney. “As a marketing student, it is incredibly valuable for me to have an opportunity to meet companies looking to hire for the business side of their operations,” she says.

The dean of the College of Business, Dr. Jason Greene, shared that this event was strategically created to benefit business students and the professional business community. “The COB Career Fair is an important part of fulfilling our mission to launch students’ careers,” he says. “We are proud to host this event to help our community partners showcase the opportunities they have, and meet these outstanding young professionals. Whether a company is seeking interns or full-time employees, it is a great way to get access and visibility among business students and to find outstanding team members,” says Greene.

Companies and organizations interested in attending the Business Career Fair can register by visiting uah.edu/business/careers-internships/for-employers. Registration is $400, which includes one table, two chairs and two box lunches. Additional tables, chairs and lunches are available as add-ons at checkout.
