October 7, 2019 Reminder: The deadline for the Distinguished Speakers Series 2019-2020 Call for Proposals is approaching - October 11, 2019 Submitted by the Office of the Provost and the UAH Faculty Senate - Finance and Resources Committee The University of Alabama in Huntsville Distinguished Speaker Series provides academic departments or units with an opportunity to bring speakers of national and international reputation to the UAH campus community. The objectives are to enrich the academic environment at UAH, enhance the national and international reputation of UAH, foster the university’s town-gown relationships, and establish new contacts with distinguished scholars in disciplines of importance to the mission of UAH. Series events are open to the entire university community as well as the general public.
