Student Initiative Fund Introduction and Purpose COS for Change is a program initiated in 2022 by the College of Science (COS) at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH). COS for Change shall be utilized for student-led initiatives designed to enhance studies in areas on campus that serve College of Science students. Examples of possible proposals range from developing a new study area on campus to adding specific software in a computer lab COS for Change shall provide an allowance up to $2500 per project proposal. The act of developing a proposal shall not be for personal gain, but rather to boost involvement while pursuing the betterment of College of Science study areas. Project Proposals COS for Change proposals may be submitted only by current UAH students that have declared a College of Science major and/or minor. Proposals must be written in accordance with the COS for Change proposal form and uploaded online.
