Mr. Paul Marshall

Research Technician V, Rotorcraft Systems Engineering & Simulation Center (RSESC)

Biography

Mr. Marshall is a Research Technician for RSESC’s Reliability and Failure Analysis Laboratory (RFAL). He has an A.A.S degree in Information Technology – Web Technology from Southwest Tennessee Community College and is currently pursuing a BS in professional studies (Technology, Science and Society concentration) from The University of Alabama in Huntsville.

Over the past eight years he has worked in multiple roles in the lab. He has provided support to researchers in procurement of test equipment, maintains the department’s information system including the systems for test equipment. He built the first website for RFAL using HTML and CSS. The website was later ported to the main UAH site. He currently maintains the RFAL website and uses the provided Joomla CMS. He has also assisted with various projects and equipment troubleshooting in the Failure Analysis lab.

Prior to joining UAH, Mr. Marshall had over 10 years of experience in facilities maintenance and equipment troubleshooting. He provided preventative maintenance and repaired equipment including, but not limited to, HVAC systems, boilers, and mechanical systems.
