Biography

Martin currently serves as the Director of Research and Engineering Services at Scientific Research Corporation in Huntsville, Alabama. He has 20 years of experience in the defense and commercial industries leading teams to achieve innovative solutions to government challenges. He has held active military, government civilian, and contract positions across his career in areas of system development, testing, business development, and organizational operations. He has a bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts and Sciences from Midwestern State University, a Master of Business Administration from Grantham University, and a Doctorate of Business Administration from California Southern University. Additionally, he previously served as an adjunct professor at Grantham University. He is active in the ITEA Rocket City Chapter, Huntsville Aerospace Marketing Association, and Project Management Institute.

Martin has a diverse background in organizational structure and performance/process improvement and implementation as well as engineering management and strategic planning for growth. While he started his first management position in 1995, he continues to engage with companies and leadership groups to be involved in current business trends and market challenges across multiple technology domains. He is a business and innovation-focused leader with a curious mind and tinker’s heart to continually learn and explore.
