Biography

Valentina is a Professor of Entrepreneurship at Alabama A&M University and a Professor of Social Media Marketing at the University of Alabama Huntsville. She received her Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli (Italy) and has served as a Research Scholar at the Wharton School of Business’ Sol C. Snider Entrepreneurial Research Center. She founded a digital communication company when she was 26. As part of her academic and professional career, Valentina has designed and developed a platform to support aspiring entrepreneurs in the business idea development. The platform has been also adopted for specific entrepreneurship training programs under her instructing.

Valentina is a startups mentor, with experience in one-to-one as well as group coaching. Furthermore, she is a marketing consultant with 10 years of experience with national and international companies. She’s been actively engaged with I2C, supporting in the organization and realization of business ideas competitions serving as mentor, strategy assistance and liaison with the College of Business at UAH.
