Mental Health First Aid Training Misc, Conference/Lecture Thursday, March 28, 2024 The event started -29 days agoMultiday event - 0 days 9:00 AM 5:30 PM Student Services Building Room 201 Mental Health First Aid Training teaches people how to recognize signs of mental health and or substance use challenges in adults, how to provide initial help and guide a person toward appropriate care. On March 28th, MHFA Training will be offered in SSB Room 201 from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Participants must pre-register and attend the entire day to receive the certificate. This workshop is free as part of the Alabama Department of Mental Health and will be conducted by Tommie Sanders from Wellstone Behavioral Health. Lunch is provided. If interested, please sign up here and take note of the instructions for pre-enrollment. Training is capped at 15 participants and sign-ups will close when full.
