- doors open at 6pm, with the first 25 attendees receiving free tickets to Rio: Beauty of the Amazon

About West African Dance:

The talented interdisciplinary artists of Africa Nashville (Sory Diabate, Agathe Moubembe, Mohamed Cisse and Ibrahima Dioubate) will speak, perform, and teach, sharing the profound influence and beauty
of African culture & heritage through music and dance. Joining them is local artist, teacher, and choreographer Monique Ryan, the Founder and Executive Director of DanceAll Productions, Inc. and Dance Theatre of Huntsville, and the members of her Pre-Professional Performing Company.

This series  is organized by the departments of History and Sociology and funded by the UAH Humanities Center.
