UAH College Democrats is honored to be joined by Pete Davis! Pete is a 2018 Harvard Law graduate and liberal activist who is the co-host of the Current Affairs Podcast as well as the co-founder of the Democratic Alternative, a project that seeks to articulate a new vision for the future of the Democratic Party! His writing has appeared in publications such as The Guardian and Current Affairs: A Magazine of Politics and Culture.

In the loving spirit of the Valentine's Day season, Pete will deliver a lecture about how his Christian faith drove him toward his political leftism as well as discuss the rich Christian roots of many left-wing movements in America and the Christian message of love and empathy that influenced them. There will be a meet and greet with Pete at 7 before the official lecture at 7:30 and a Q&A after the lecture.

We happily welcome anyone from UAH and the Madison/Huntsville community regardless of your political beliefs or lack thereof
