The Honors College Fellowship Advising Office is hosting Fellowship Fridays, a series of information sessions that offer valuable information on major fellowships and scholarships for all types of majors and concentrations.

On Friday, March 05, 2021, Fellowship Advisor Jennifer Staton will talk about the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP).  The NSF GRFP recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported STEM disciplines who are pursuing research-based Master's and doctoral degrees at accredited U.S. institutions. The five-year fellowship includes three years of financial support including an annual stipend of $34,000 and a cost of education allowance of $12,000 to the institution.  Jennifer will discuss the basic application and eligibility requirements for the NSF GRFP, along with advice on how to prepare for the application itself.

This is an online event that requires a password to join; contact Jennifer at statonj@uah.edu for the Zoom link and passcode.  This info session is ideal for STEM and Psychology/Social Sciences freshmen and sophomores who are interested in pursuing graduate school.
