The Top 20

About the Program

The Top 20 program recognizes extraordinary undergraduate and graduate students from The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) College of Business. These outstanding business students distinguish themselves in areas such as academic excellence, professional career development, exemplary leadership, community service, overcoming adversity, entrepreneurship, or making a substantial positive impact on others on, or off, campus.

Applications/nominations will be reviewed by college alumni and community partners, and selected students will be celebrated through various high-visibility channels the following spring semester.

Qualifications

Applicants/nominees must:

• Be a undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled, full-time or part-time, at the UAH College of Business
• Be in good academic standing
• Demonstrate excellence or an extraordinary ability
• Submit a completed application with supporting documents no later than 11:59 p.m. on January 19, 2024

Recognition

• Selected students will be notified by January 15, 2025.
• Professional headshots will be taken for each honoree and will be used in various publications. Headshots will be shared with the student for their personal use.
• Honorees will be honored at the Spring 2025 Honors Banquet on April 4, 2025.
• Honorees will be included in The Top 20 of 2025 printed publication, which will be sent to notable alumni and leaders in the professional community.
• Honorees will also be shared through social media announcements, the college website, local new releases, newsletters, etc.

Important Dates

• December 10, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. - Applications/Nominations Due
• January 15, 2025 - Student Honorees Notified
• April 4, 2025 - Honors Banquet
