Program Application Update
Applications for the 2027-2028 program will open in March 2027.
This cohort-based leadership program is for selected first-year freshman or transfer undergraduate business students.
Students will build a community with other high-achieving business students as they receive exclusive programming in leadership, career development, networking and social events. Our Emerging Business Leaders develop meaningful relationships with college leadership and learn from business leaders in the community.
Selected business students will receive a $500 scholarship for their engagement in the program. The scholarship will be awarded at the end of the spring semester upon successful completion of the program.

No, the selection committee will use the information provided in the application to select EBL students.
Selected business students will receive a $500 scholarship for their engagement in the program. The scholarship will be awarded at the end of the spring semester upon successful completion of the program.
The scholarship can be applied to tuition, fee, room, and board.
Everyone who applies to the program will be notified of the selection results. Notifications will be sent to the email address provided in the application before August of the upcoming program year.
First-year freshman or transfer students who have been admitted to UAH and plan on starting in summer or fall and who are majoring in business (accounting, analytics, cybersecurity management, economics, finance, information systems, management, marketing, general business and undecided business) are eligible to apply.
No. The scholarship is a one-time scholarship for first-year students.
Unfortunately, you need to be actively pursuing a major in business to continue in this program and receive scholarship awards.
