Award-winning pianists Dr. Melody Ng and Dr. Nicholas Reynolds will join forces for a piano duo concert at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, in the newly renovated Roberts Recital Hall. The concert, which is part of the Constellation Concert Series hosted by The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH), will feature a repertoire for two pianos and piano four-hands by Franz Schubert, Dmitri Shostakovich, and Astor Piazzolla. A native of Hong Kong, Dr. Ka Man "Melody" Ng serves as assistant professor/artist teacher in piano at UAH. She was the first-prize winner in numerous competitions, including UW Beethoven Piano Competition, Irving Shain Woodwind and Piano Duo Competition, Neale-Silva Young Artists' Competition, Badger Collegiate Competition, and MTNA (State & Regional) Young Artist Competition. Her appearances included broadcast performances on Wisconsin Public Radio and the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. She was also the pianist of a touring chamber group, The Kat Trio, and has performed with the Concord Chamber Orchestra and Lawrence Symphony Orchestra. ...
