About Ale

Where did you go to college?

I graduated from UAH with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2013. I then decided to stay at UAH to complete my Master of Business Administration in 2015.

When you were a student, what were some of your favorite things about UAH?

I’ve been a part of UAH as an undergraduate and graduate student and now as a staff member, and I love everything about it! As a student, I was involved in Greek Life, UAH Tennis Team, Salsa Club, National Society of Leadership and Success, and Society of Human Resources Management. I also worked for the Housing and Athletics departments here on campus. Getting involved is what helped me to grow as a person and improved my leadership skills. I also enjoyed that my professors and advisors were always there to help me with anything I needed.

What made you want to become an Admissions Counselor?

I became an Admissions Counselor because I want students to know the awesome opportunities UAH has to offer. I want to share with them the amazing experiences I had here and tell them they can have it too! I love talking about the great academic programs UAH has and how living on campus and getting involved has helped me become who I am today.

What are your hobbies?

My hobbies include listening to music, watching Netflix, and playing with my two dogs, Emilio and Diego.
