Biography

I am Lilly Honea. I grew up in New Hope, Alabama, and have always been interested in people, education, and history. In 2018 I moved to Tuscaloosa to begin my journey in higher education. I graduated with my master's after an internship with the Chickasaw Nation's Chickasaw Cultural Center in Oklahoma where I worked on virtual museum exhibiting opportunities during the COVID pandemic. After graduating I worked for UA's Honors College as an instructor and academic advisor, and I am thrilled to be home in Huntsville working with students again!
