Our current student in the spotlight is Hannah Bryant.  Hannah was born in Huntsville, AL, but lived in Germany from kindergarten through middle school. Hannah graduated from Huntsville High School, where she was a member of the National Honors Society, the Latin National Honor Society, the Latin Club and the Chemistry Club.

This fall, Hannah will be a sophomore majoring in Chemistry with a minor in Biology.  She plans on attending medical school in the future. Ultimately, she is interested in working with kids as a pediatrician.  She's still deciding whether she will focus on primary care or pediatric cancer.

Hannah is also a member of the Honors Program Student Council.  She currently serves as the HPSC Secretary and is in charge of keeping meeting notes and other important information.  Hannah has been essential in planning Honors events and community service projects.  She played a huge role in planning and carrying out the Honors Program Open House this year, which was a major success and attended by over 100 Honors students.  Hannah also coordinates most of the HPSC marketing efforts and assists in maintaining the HPSC website.  Aside from being an HPSC officer, Hannah is also an Honors mentor and participates in the Medical Careers Club and the American Chemical Society chapter at UAH.
