The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH), a part of The University of Alabama System, announced that 10 faculty members have been recognized for their outstanding performance and overall excellence by being awarded tenure and/or promotion effective the 2021-2022 academic year. These faculty include seven members awarded tenure and promotion to Associate Professor, two promotions in academic rank to Professor and one promotion to Senior Lecturer.

"It gives me great pleasure to announce the 2020-2021 tenure and promotion decisions," says Christine W. Curtis, UAH Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs. "These decisions resulted from extensive reviews by faculty colleagues at the department, college and university levels and, in appropriate cases, references by distinguished colleagues from other academic institutions.
