His expertise lies in additive manufacturing (AM) and thermal characterization of thermoplastic composite materials, with a focus on topics such as thermal simulation of AM processes, design for additive manufacturing, and machine learning applications in AM. Dr. Huseynov has held teaching positions at institutions including the Tennessee Technological University (teaching assistant), French Azerbaijani University (UFAZ), and Baku Engineering University, where he instructed courses ranging from Engineering Foundations to Thermal Sciences. He has contributed to numerous research projects funded by organizations such as the National Science Foundation and the European Union, and his work has been published in reputable journals and conferences. Additionally, Dr. Huseynov is actively engaged in academic peer review services and is a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), demonstrating his dedication to both education and research in the field of mechanical engineering.
