
2026 Art Expo
The Department of Art, Art History, and Design is pleased to invite high school students and high school art classes to our annual ART EXPO on the campus of The University of Alabama in Huntsville. Date and times to be announced in March of 2026. Stay tuned!
ART EXPO features art facility tours and demos, and, most importantly, the student art exhibition. This is an excellent opportunity for students with a passion for the visual arts to display their work, interact with college art faculty, and win prizes or scholarships!

The Art Expo High School Student Exhibition will be open for public viewing at the Wilson Hall Gallery from Students, family members, and friends are welcome to visit during the week or attend the awards ceremony.

How to participate:
- Select ONE artwork that you would like to display in the show. Awards categories include Works on Paper, Painting, Digital Media and Design, Mixed Media and 3D art, and Photography.
- Register to participate - opens in March 2026.
- Art submissions must be dropped off at the Wilson Hall Gallery by TBD.
- Students do not need to frame or mat their work.
Awards & Prizes:
Student Awards include 1-year UAH Scholarships starting at $1,000 and a chance to participate in a special exhibition in our Lowe Mill A&E project space or be selected as a summer artist in residence at the project space. All student award winners will receive high-quality art supplies. Lastly, teachers with high-level participation can earn gift certificates from Blick and help transform your classroom into a hub of creativity and inspiration!
