The pick up ions are accelerated through processes like diffusive shock acceleration at the termination shock which boosts the energy of these particles. A stochastic differential equation based model is used for these studies with ACRs modeled using Parker transport equation and the background heliosphere with the MHD model. The data and intensity spectra observed by Voyager spacecrafts is used for the understanding of the computed results. My Phd work was focused on the dispersive Alfven waves based two-fluid models to study the nonlinearities, coherent structures and turbulence in the solar wind turbulence at 1 AU.
