Biography

Patience Ezeike serves as CSPAR’s Senior Research Proposal and Contract Analyst,
where she provides strategic leadership in research proposal development, financial
management, and supports sponsored program administration. She joined CSPAR in February
2025 as a Project and Proposal Coordinator with over 17 years of professional experience in the
finance and banking sectors. She brings extensive expertise in financial and data management,
proposal development, loan administration, and project management. She previously held key
roles with international banks and organizations, where she developed strong analytical,
organizational, and strategic budgeting capabilities over the years. Her transition into research
administration has allowed her to apply this depth of financial expertise to sponsored programs
and institutional research operations. Patience holds a Master of Business Administration
(MBA) in Management with a concentration in Business Analytics from the University of
Alabama in Huntsville (2024) and a Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance. In her current
role, she works closely with Principal Investigators (PIs) and research teams to develop
competitive, accurate, and compliant proposal budgets and supporting documentation for
submissions. She provides comprehensive post-award financial management support. In
partnership with CSPAR’s Administrative Director, she oversees budgeting and financial
administration for research personnel and ensures effective management, compliance, and
accurate accounting of all active awards and grants within CSPAR and SPA Department.
