The Office of Environmental Health and Safety is excited to announce a new safety training software called Percipio, which is being rolled out for all applicable employees. This will replace OEHS’s legacy Power Point trainings, allowing for a more efficient and user-friendly experience. Applicable employees can expect to receive notifications about the new training courses throughout the year until a full implementation is complete. Pecipio allows OEHS to have a centralized location for all safety training needs, while vastly expanding our available training topics by including over 600 different safety training courses. This allows us to provide individual laboratory spaces and research groups with safety training tailored to their research work and hazards. Additionally, Percipio allows for streamlined communication, with automatic reminders sent out when individuals need to complete a training course. Users can access Percipio through these email notifications, or by visiting the OEHS website where you can find direct links to Percipio, the available safety training catalog, and our Safety Training Request form for additional training needs.
