TV, Internet, and Laundry Xfinity On Campus Each resident has access to local cable channels through Xfinity On Campus. You may access Xfinity on digital devices and smart TVs. Login using your UAH username and password. All cable access is streaming. There are no wired cable connections. Residents experiencing trouble with cable service must complete an Office of Information and Technology (OIT) work order. Internet Access All student rooms in all residence halls and apartments have wired and wireless Internet connectivity. Bevill Center only has wireless internet. Students having issues connecting to the internet should contact the Office of Information Technology at helpdesk@uah.edu or by dialing 256.824.3333. Residents are expected to provide their own laundry bag, detergent, and other related items. All laundry machines accept payment through Flex Dollars or quarters. Our laundry machines are provided through Caldwell & Gregory and utilize HE liquid detergent or laundry pods (if added directly to the washtub. Residents are encouraged to utilize the Speed Queen app to stay up-to-the-minute on laundry availability in their community.
