The UAH Department of History provides many opportunities for students to participate in history-related activities outside of the classroom.
Society for Ancient and Medieval Studies
The Society for Ancient and Medieval Studies is a community for those of all majors with an interest in ancient and medieval history and culture. Members have the opportunity to learn about a variety of ancient and medieval topics and present their own research. The club visits local exhibitions and lectures on relevant topics, as well as finding entertaining new ways to engage with the subject.
