Undergraduate Scholarships
Frances C. Roberts Scholarship
Qualifications:
- Must be a history major
- Must have a junior or senior standing (undergraduate students are preferred, but graduate students can work with the Office of Financial Aid)
- Must be a full-time student
- Must have a UAH GPA of 3.5
- Must show academic potential and promise
This scholarship is eligible for renewal for up to two years, and financial needs are considered.
John Hendricks Scholarship
Qualifications:
- Must be a history major
- Must be a full-time undergraduate student
This scholarship is based on academic merit, citizenship, and leadership and is eligible for renewal for up to four years of undergraduate study (if the recipient remains in good academic standing). It may also include support for room, board, and other expenses (determined by the university). Award recipient(s) will be selected by the UAH Financial Aid Committee (on the recommendation of the History Department)
Heritage Junior Scholarship
Qualifications:
- Must be a history major
- Must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student
This scholarship is based on academic merit, citizenship, and leadership and is awarded for one year only; however, previous recipients may reapply. The award may also include support for room, board, and other expenses (determined by the university), and financial needs are considered.
