Biography

A native of Huntsville, Sarah Zupko received her B.A. from Brigham Young University. Sarah began her college career as a political science major, but changed to history when a semester abroad in London solidified her love of the discipline. Her original major continues to inform her areas of historical interest.

Sarah earned her M.A. from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. After attending universities as large as 33,000 students and as small as 2,000 students, Sarah found the size of UAH to be "just right." Sarah's most recent project was acting as an editorial assistant for an English to Persian translation of a popular American novel. Sarah currently teaches classes on modern world history.

Sarah enjoys supporting local food, walking with her two children and their two dogs, and traveling with her husband, Andy.
