Scheduling an Exam

 

Instructional Testing Services (ITS) will administer make-up exams for UAH students. The testing schedule is Monday-Friday at 9:00 am or 1:00 pm in Wilson Hall Room 225. We ask that students contact us for an appointment at least a week in advance.

 

In order to test with ITS, students MUST contact their instructor and gain approval to scheudule a make-up exam BEFORE filing out the Google Form linked below.

Once ITS receives a form submission, ITS will either send the student and instructor an email confirmation or ask that the student reschedule for an alternative date and/or time.

 

It is the responsibility of the student to remind instructors to send their exams to ITS. If an exam has not been sent to ITS, ITS will send a courtesy email to instructors the day before the scheduled exam.

 

Day of Exam

 

Students should arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled appointment and must bring a photo id, either a government issued or UAH student id.

 

Doors close at exactly 9:00 AM or 1:00 PM and any late student is considered a no show. In an event a student is unable to arrive on time, they must contact their Instructor for rescheduling options. A cumulative of 3 missed appointments during the semester will result in a loss of testing privileges for the remaining semester. Should this occur, students will be referred back to their Instructor.

 

No exam will be returned back to the student. Instructors must contact ITS directly in order for any exams to be released.

 

Instructors may email the exam to testing@uah.edu, or bring it to the office. There is a secure night drop box for after hours drop off. Please include the Test Administration Instructions form.

Late Arrival Policy:

  • Exams start at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm Monday- Friday.
  • Students are required to arrive 15 minutes prior to appointment
  • Students who arrive after exams have started are considered no shows.

Notice

Due to limited space, there will be no make-up exams scheduled during UAH finals week. Instructional Testing Services offers a deferred final date the first Friday of the following semester at 9:00 am.
