ACT On-Campus Testing is available at The University of Alabama in Huntsville to students who were unable to test on an ACT National Testing date.

ACT On-Campus Testing is strictly limited to UAH students who have enrolled, have been admitted, or have officially applied to UAH. Scores from ACT On-Campus Testing are reported only to UAH for admission, course placement, and advising purposes. No scores will be sent to other institutions or organizations.

  • It is a pencil and paper test.
  • It follows the same format as a regular ACT administration.
Test Dates and Registration
  • The University of Alabama in Huntsville offers ACT On-Campus Testing by appointment only. 
  • Call Testing & Certification Services at 256.824.6373 at least 2 weeks in advance to schedule a testing date.
  • Once your test date is scheduled with UAH Testing and Certification Services, you must REGISTER ONLINE or phone 256.824.6010 to pay the ACT On-Campus Testing fee of $125.  Your administration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Test Day Information
  • Bring approved identification. Please see acceptable forms of identification on the ACT website.
  • Bring several number 2 pencils. Mechanical pencils and pens are not allowed.
  • ACT permits examinees to use a calculator for the Mathematics Test but not on any of the other tests. Use of a calculator is optional. All problems on the Mathematics Test can be solved without a calculator. For an approved list of calculators see the ACT website.
  • Exam length is approximately 4 hours.
  • Arrive at least 20 minutes before the scheduled exam time:
  • You may retake the ACT On-Campus Test but must wait 60 days.
