The University of Alabama in Huntsville Testing and Certification Services proctors examinations for distance-learning students from other universities and community members seeking certain professional certifications and licensures.
- Exams may be computer-delivered or paper and pencil.
Registration
- We offer appointments Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:00pm.
- Complete the Proctored Exam Information Form to register.
- Once the form is received, you will receive a call to schedule an exam date and time along with directions on how to pay proctoring fees.
- It is recommended that you schedule your exam at least three weeks prior to your desired exam day.
Proctoring Fees
- $35 for an exam scheduled to last 2 hours or less
- $50 for an exam scheduled to last more than 2 hours
Test Day Information
- Bring approved identification. Please verify acceptable forms of identification with the board from which you are seeking certification or licensure.
- Check with the certification or licensing board for approved examination supplies or aids.
- Arrive at least 20 minutes before the scheduled exam time:
- Provide your vehicle's license plate number to receive a parking permit in Wilson Hall, Room 214.
- Display the provided parking permit to avoid a $50 parking fine: UAH Zoned Parking information for UAH Testing and Certification Services.
- Park ONLY in appropriate designated zones.
