Biography

Christopher Smith brings nearly a decade of corporate training experience and has facilitated programs for Fortune 50, 100 and 500 companies across the entertainment, financial, healthcare and telecommunication industries. His expertise includes soft and technical skill development, sales training and leadership development.

Currently, Christopher is the director of engagement programs at The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH). His prior experience includes managing initiatives in various settings, operations management, event planning and institutional projects. He is well-versed in various topics and has led training on topics like hiring best practices, talent retention, company culture and workplace mentoring. In 2021, he was honored to be appointed to the City of Huntsville’s Human Relations Commission by Mayor Battle where he currently serves in a leadership role.

Christopher has received a bachelor's in computer science from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University and a master's in human resource management from The University of Alabama in Huntsville.
