UAH is home to several student organizations that are geared toward our MVP population. Whether you served, you are still serving, you are a Cadet preparing to serve, or if you support those who serve, there is a community of Chargers waiting for you at UAH.
Veteran Organizations
Campus Affiliated Military Organization (CAMO)
CAMO serves as a platform to provide veterans, service members, cadets, and military dependents with opportunities to share their experiences and networks, as well as to offer mutual support and assistance as they pursue their academic, professional, and social goals at The University of Alabama in Huntsville and beyond.
ROTC Organizations
Arnold Air Society
AAS provides a flexible, member-driven way for Det 012A cadets to build community, organize aviation-related events/education, and support each other outside core ROTC training—without heavy structure or external ties. It's open to Det 012A members, and students. We use Discord for votes/decisions, and keeps things simple with no fixed meetings or committees. This fosters cadet initiative in aviation interest while boosting overall detachment morale and knowledge.
