Biography

Loyd Baker is a Senior Systems Engineer for Quantum Research International supporting the U.S. Army in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities. He has twenty-five years of experience applying and training MBSE processes used successfully by many corporations and government agencies such as Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, NASA, the Department of Energy (DoE), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the U.S. Army. He has been teaching SysML Using Cameo Systems Modeler here at UAH for the last five years. Prior to getting involved in MBSE applications and training, he spent 20 years doing systems analysis for defense contractors on military and NASA contracts. Mr. Baker is a past president of the Huntsville Chapter of the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) and a NASA Silver Snoopy Award winner for support of the Apollo missions.
