Biography

Dr. Kristin Weger joined UAH’s Industrial and Systems Engineering and Engineering Management Department as a Clinical Associate Professor, where she supports graduate education and research in Engineering Management. She brings extensive experience in applied research and organizational transformation across defense, manufacturing, healthcare, and advanced technology sectors. Dr. Weger’s research focuses on organizational design, socio-technical systems, Lean leadership, human-centered systems integration, organizational resilience, adaptive systems, and human–AI teaming, with an emphasis on the acceptance and adoption of emerging technologies in complex operational environments. Her work integrates behavioral science, systems thinking, and data-driven methods to improve performance, readiness, and decision-making in high-stakes contexts.
