Biography

Dr. Kaveh Sheikhrezaei is a Lecturer for the Industrial and Systems Engineering and Engineering Management Department at UAH. Dr. Sheikhrezaei received his Ph.D. degree in Engineering Science with a concentration in Human Factors from Louisiana State University. His research mainly focuses on Human Factors Engineering, with a specific concentration on the development of novel assessment methods to examine the variables that influence performance effectiveness. As a postdoctoral researcher with the Department of Industrial Engineering at LSU, he conducted ongoing generative and evaluative Human Factors studies to explore crews on long-duration flight and communication issues with time delays and how do teams interact. His research interests are highly multidisciplinary drawn from Industrial Engineering, Cognitive/Experimental Psychology, and Management. Dr. Sheikhrezaei also has a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
