In his current role with SERVIR – a joint development initiative between NASA and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) – he focuses on strengthening the Earth observation application and data accessibility in developing nations. He is a leader in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Artificial Intelligence approaches and works to build capacity with partners to leverage cutting edge technologies to address localized environmental challenges. Tim has over a decade of experience working in the geospatial technology and applied science fields, and has worked at the city, state, federal, and international level. He holds a Master’s of Science in Environmental Science and Bachelor’s of Science in Biology with an Ecology Specialization. His efforts in the Hindu Kush Himalaya region and globally, have helped him pursue stronger and deeper connections with individuals to collaborate using geospatial solutions to work towards a more sustainable and resilient future.
