Sampson Gholston
PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Dr. Sampson Gholston is the interim department chair and professor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering and Engineering Management at The University of Alabama in Huntsville. As the Director of the ALDOT Mentor-Protégé Program, Dr. Gholston has helped develop over 50 DBEs, assisted them in securing ALDOT funding and developed relationships with the highway construction community statewide. He understands the needs of DBEs and the requirements of the prime contractors. Dr. Gholston is a senior examiner for the National Baldrige Performance Excellence Program, which identifies criteria for high performing business.

Ronica Ondocsin
PROJECT MANAGER
Ronica Ondocsin, P.E. is a program manager in the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering and Engineering Management at The University of Alabama in Huntsville. Her civil engineering background for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Department of Defense includes site development, pavement design, project management and master planning. Ms. Ondocsin has worked in municipal government in policy making, budgeting, finances, economic development, business retention, and personnel management. She is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Alabama.

Donald Taylor, PMP is a senior consultant for the UAH Mentor-Protégé Program, as well as the founder/owner of Encypro Corporation, an engineering, management consulting, technical and implementation services company. He has over 25 years of experience on critical infrastructure projects worldwide.
