The UAH Mentor-Protégé Program and Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) are committed to helping ALDOT-certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) in heavy highway construction grow and mature through customized business counseling, training and relationship building. The program has worked with 50+ DBE firms since 2010, helping them increase their business capabilities, improve overall performance and enhance competitive advantage in the highway construction industry.

The UAH MPP is funded by ALDOT and operates in accordance with DBE Program regulations 49 CFR, Part 26, Appendix D. 

The value of participation in the program? (Answer: Business consultant fees range from $80 to $200 per hour.)
