From October 14th through November 4th, you’ll have the opportunity to review your benefits, explore your options, and make any necessary changes for the upcoming year. To help you prepare, we've highlighted the key changes and resources below. We encourage you to visit the Open Enrollment website to explore your options before making your elections.
What's Changing for 2027?
Several important changes are coming to UAH's employee benefits for 2027. Here's a quick look at what's changing:
- Medical and dental premiums: Premium increases for the upcoming plan year.
- Medical plan design: Adjustments to certain deductibles and copays.
- Pharmacy benefits: Transition to Judi Rx, effective January 1st, 2027.
- Benefit enhancements: Increased HSA and FSA contribution limits, along with new and expanded health resources.
What Actions Are Required?
Take time to review your current benefits and consider whether your coverage still meets your needs for 2027. You must take action if you wish to:
- Participate in a Health Care Flexible Spending Account (HCFSA)
- Participate in a Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA) for childcare expenses
- Participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA)
- Make changes to your existing insurance elections for medical, dental, or vision insurance
If you do not wish to make changes to your existing medical, dental, vision, life, or disability coverage, these benefits will automatically roll over and take effect on January 1st, 2027.
