Dr. Gray Kocchar-Lindgren
Visiting Eminent Scholar ChairBiography
I am absolutely delighted to be at UAH to learn from, and collaborate with, students and colleagues across disciplines. I’ll be sharing co-participatory Jam Sessions with students on Meaning, Joy, and Improvisational Dialogues, as well as Public Lectures on “AI in the Arts and Humanities” and “Transdisciplinary Critical Zones.” I hope to interact with classes across the Arts and Humanities in my time here at UAH. I will be offering two seminars on philosophy and painting in the Fall and Spring at the College’s Lowe Mill A&E Studio 1047, and I hope, additionally, to organize Brown Bag Chats with students.I will be teaching courses in Philosophy and English that will be open to other majors in the Spring semester. I like to read, write, learn, watch, look, invent, discuss, walk in cities, and sit and do nothing. My door is always open, so come by and chat!
