Our primary goal is to keep the student first, and to provide students with what they need to make informed decisions. Our bottom line is student success!
The Division of Student Affairs supports the academic mission of the University by providing programs, services, and co-curricular experiences that enhance student success and promote a vibrant intellectual environment. By fostering awareness of lifelong learning, Student Affairs assists students in developing skills for effective citizenship in a multicultural world. Students are: ...the most important people on our campus. Without students there would be no need for the institution. ...not cold enrollment statistics but flesh and blood human beings with feelings and emotions like our own. ...not simply to be tolerated so that we can do our thing. They are our thing. ...not dependent on us. Rather, we are dependent on them. ...not an interruption of our work, but the purpose of it. We are not doing them a favor by serving them.
