Please remember to submit your nomination for 2024 Staff Excellence Awards. This is your opportunity to play an active role in recognizing exceptional employees for their contributions. Do you have a manager that displays outstanding leadership qualities? Or an employee or colleague that shows an exemplary level of excellence in their job? Please take the time to nominate a deserving individual for one of these prestigious awards prior to the February 29th deadline!
The University of Alabama in Huntsville community would like to recognize those staff employees who go beyond the ordinary requirements of their jobs and who make a difference at UAH. The recipients of these prestigious awards will be invited to attend an awards ceremony and presented with a Certificate of Appreciation and a check for $1,000.
The award categories are:
- Staff Excellence Award (two awards: one non-exempt employee and one exempt employee)
- Facilities Excellence Award
- Leadership Award
Nominations may be submitted by faculty, staff, and students. As part of the nomination process, a statement of key reasons for your nominee is required. Click here to submit your nomination and upload your statement of key reasons. Please be as thorough as possible when detailing your key reasons, as this justification is used to select the awardees. Nominations must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. Thursday, February 29, 2024.
A Selection Committee composed of previous award recipients will review each nomination and select the 2024 awardees. You are encouraged to nominate an individual who meets the eligibility and selection criteria and who deserves recognition for their outstanding achievements and/or commitment to the University. Awardees from the previous three years (2021, 2022, 2023) are not eligible for nomination.
