Parking Fees and Permit Issuance All students and employees, included part-time students and employees, contractors, and adjunct faculty who park a vehicle on campus must pay the annual parking fee, register their vehicle(s), and correctly display a current parking permit. All Faculty, Staff and Students should visit my.uah.edu to purchase parking permits, register bicycles and pay citations. If you have questions, please be sure and check the Parking FAQ's and the Parking Rules and Regulations Holiday “Safe Vehicle” Initiative The UAH Police Department has created an Extended Leave Parking program. If you go away for a period of time, the UAH PD has designated lots, which are frequently patrolled and monitored by camera systems, to leave your vehicle. Vehicles can be registered with UAH PD and participants can have ease of mind while away. As always, your UAH Police Officers will be here 24/7 throughout the holidays. However, here are some things you can do in order to prevent yourself from becoming a victim to theft over the holidays. Be sure all of your doors are locked. Park in a well lit parking lot with camera systems. Register your vehicle with the UAH PD. When possible, remove valuables from your vehicle. Avoid "advertising" expensive equipment such as radios, cell phones, GPS holders, and remote control devices for your entertainment systems. Call UAH Police Department at 256.824.6596 immediately if you find your vehicle has been broken into. Do not touch or even move the vehicle. Leave everything as you found it.
