For his achievements in polymer chemistry, Dr. Kris Matyjaszewski of Carnegie Mellon University will receive the Madison Marshall award from the North Alabama Section of the American Chemical Society and the Department of Chemistry at The University of Alabama in Huntsville at 3 p.m. on Friday, April 5, in room 301 of the Shelby Center for Science & Technology, followed by a lecture by Dr. Matyjaszewski. Hors d’oeuvres will be served beginning at 2:30 p.m.
