To help professionals stay competitive and continue upskilling, UAH is offering the Charger EDGE (Educational Discount for Graduate Excellence) program – a tuition scholarship on master’s degrees and graduate certificate programs. Charger EDGE has two distinct programs:
- Charger Alumni EDGE: a 20% tuition scholarship to any student who earned a degree from UAH and is returning to UAH to pursue a qualifying graduate program
- Charger Partner EDGE: a 15% tuition scholarship to employees of partner organizations admitted to and enrolled in qualifying graduate programs

Charger Alumni EDGE

Who is eligible and how do I maintain my eligibility?
To participate:
- You must have graduated from UAH with a degree.
- You must be admitted to and enrolled in a qualifying UAH graduate program.
- You must maintain continuous enrollment, with the exception of the summer term, through graduation.
- You must remain in good academic standing (3.0 GPA).
How much is the tuition scholarship?
UAH will provide a 20% tuition scholarship to UAH graduates enrolled in the Charger Alumni EDGE program.
Charger Partner EDGE
UAH maintains strong relationships with the many companies and organizations throughout the Tennessee Valley and beyond. Who is eligible and how do I maintain my eligibility?
To participate:
- You must be admitted to and enrolled in a qualifying UAH graduate program.
- You must be a current employee within the Charger Partner EDGE program and indicate “Charger Partner EDGE Program” on the UAH Graduate Admissions Application.
- You must maintain continuous enrollment, with the exception of the summer term, through graduation.
- You must remain in good academic standing (3.0 GPA).
How much is the tuition scholarship?
UAH will provide a 15% tuition scholarship to the employees enrolled in the Charger Partner EDGE program.

Program Terms
Both the Community Partner EDGE and Alumni EDGE Programs apply to new graduate students enrolling to UAH for the Fall 2026 term. Eligible students may receive the scholarship for all subsequent academic terms (spring, summer, and fall), provided eligibility is maintained and adequate funding is available.
Program Restrictions
- The Community Partners EDGE and Alumni EDGE scholarships cannot be combined with each other, funded Graduate Assistant (GAA), Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA), or Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) positions, or any other UAH institutional scholarships.
- The Charger EDGE program scholarship is not available retroactively for current master’s degree-seeking students.
- There is not a separate scholarship application form to complete for the Charger EDGE program scholarships.
- Application fees are not waived and must be paid in full.
