We are SO EXCITED to welcome new and returning students back to campus and we hope you are too! Week of Welcome is just around the corner (August 14 - 22, 2026)!
While organized through the Student Life Office, WOW is a campus wide initiative providing all students with a variety of ways to make connections and learn about the many resources available at UAH. In order for these eight days to go smoothly, we rely heavily on faculty and staff volunteers for the programs known as Tradition Events. Including the Tradition events, there are 283 Week of Welcome events. I'm very excited for our new and returning students to experience one of the most vibrant UAH traditions.
Please take a few moments to review the volunteer needs during WOW by visiting the below signup sheet. There are opportunities available on weekdays and weekends; morning, afternoon, and evening programs. Please also share these opportunities with your staff and encourage them to volunteer as well.
