It's that time again! UAH's Week of Welcome (WOW) is a campus wide initiative intended to welcome both new and returning students to campus for the Fall semester.
This year's Week of Welcome will occur Friday, August 14 - Saturday, August 22, 2026.
The success of Week of Welcome depends heavily on the support of our student organizations, academic colleges, and campus departments. We hope you will consider hosting an event during this time.
PLEASE NOTE: All WOW events must be submitted no later than MONDAY, JUNE 1.
Week of Welcome hosts a number of signature coordinated programs and events that enhance students' UAH adventure. During this week, students can participate in campus traditions, shared experiences, and different support services. These programs are geared to help students find their place on campus, make connections with their peers, and start the semester off on the right foot.
*IMPORTANT*: Please reference the TRADITION EVENT LIST when planning your college, departmental, and student organization activities. Submissions scheduled during any WOW signature/tradition event will NOT be approved as a Week of Welcome activity. You can click on the link included above or visit wow.uah.edu to access the list of tradition events.
You will NOT submit your WOW events into Charger Connect for approval and/or to request space - this will be done on your behalf. ONLY SUBMIT YOUR WOW EVENT(S) USING THE FORM LINKED BELOW.
