The Office of Student Affairs is pleased to announce that the submission period for Federal Work Study student employee positions for the academic year 2026-2027 is now open! The submission period will run from now until July 1, 2026. 

As in previous years, if you are interested in utilizing Federal Work Study funds for student employee positions, you are required to submit a request form.  
Please allow us through the beginning of August to evaluate your requests and share outcomes. 
If you are granted funding, you'll then seek out student employees and verify their FWS eligibility by emailing Chargerstudentemployment@uah.edu.
