Campus-wide ERP Modernization Town Hall

Join us at the campus town hall to learn about the new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that will replace Banner and support core HR, Finance, and Research business functions beginning in late 2027. At the town hall, you’ll see a preview of the new system, hear key program updates, and learn what this transformation means for faculty and staff.  

We’ll also officially unveil the name of the new system and answer your questions during a Q&A portion. To help us make the most of our time together, we encourage you to submit your questions in advance. We’ll prioritize those first and address live questions as time allows. We also encourage you to bring a colleague to attend, either in-person or virtually. You should have received a calendar invitation from OneUAH@uah.edu. Why this matters to you 

UAH has launched a multi-year ERP Modernization initiative to upgrade and unify our finance, human resources, and research systems into a single platform. This effort will: 

  • Streamline business processes and reduce manual workload 
  • Improve reporting and data-informed decision-making 
  • Enhance the overall experience for campus users 

*A future phase will address the replacement of the Student Information System. More details to come. 

 

While preparation work has been happening behind the scenes, we are still in the early stages of the project, with go-live anticipated for late fall 2027.

 

What does this mean for you? It means now is the right time to get informed and get involved. 

 

What we’ve been working on 

Over the past few months, campus partners and project teams have made strong progress laying critical groundwork essential to ensuring the system reflects UAH’s needs long-term, including: 

  • Launching a campus-wide Partner Network to support communication, feedback, and readiness 
  • Conducting future-state business process mapping to shape how work will flow in the new system 
  • Designing the new Chart of Accounts (CoA) and conducting campus roadshows to share updates with and gather feedback from key users 

This is just the beginning of what the future will look like here at UAH!   

 

What’s next 

The ERP Modernization Campus Town Hall on April 21 is the first of many opportunities to learn more, ask questions, and stay connected throughout the project.
